Why This Exists
When we started looking into life abroad, the information was scattered across Reddit threads, outdated blog posts, and YouTube videos selling courses. The practical stuff — how much rent actually costs, how the visa process really works, what Canadian taxes look like when you leave — was buried or wrong.
Move Abroad Rentals exists to fix that. We research, verify, and organize everything a Canadian needs to know about renting long-term across the countries we cover — Mexico, Portugal, Thailand, and Costa Rica. We focus on these countries because they're where the largest Canadian expat communities are, and where we can provide the most accurate, specific information.
